Bio

Irena is currently pursuing her M.S. in Textile Engineering after receiving her B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at Penn State University with a minor in Sustainability Leadership. Her undergraduate research focussed on fiber actuation of dehydrated copolymer hydrogels for smart textiles. Irena is excited to learn more about textiles and the balance of protection and comfort through being a TPACC researcher.
