Merin Jahan Sabiha

Bio

Merin joined TPACC in Fall 2023. Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, she relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina, to advance her education and career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering and completed her Master of Science in Textile Engineering at NC State University. She is now pursuing a PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science, beginning in Spring 2025, with a research focus on moisture barrier protection for firefighters. Beyond her academic and professional endeavors, Merin enjoys exploring music, cooking, and contributing to the community through her role as a Career Development Officer at TAGS.
