Merin Jahan Sabiha

Bio

Merin joined TPACC in Fall 2023. Originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh, She moved to Raleigh, North Carolina to further her education and career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Textile Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Textile Engineering at NC State University. Her research focuses on the development of certified children’s respirators to ensure safety and efficacy. Merin is driven by a passion to enhance product safety and user experience in the textile industry. Outside of her academic and research commitments, she enjoys exploring music, cooking, and engaging in community volunteer work as a Career Development Officer at TAGS.
